Technology

Multiplex chemistry, from extraction to detection.

Our platform pairs nucleic acid extraction reagents with multiplex RT-PCR assays designed to interrogate multiple research targets in a single reaction.

Multiplex RT-PCR

New Vision Diagnostics assays use multiplex reverse-transcription PCR chemistry to detect several research targets within one reaction. Panels range from compact MIDI configurations to extended MAXI panels covering larger target sets.

This multiplex approach is intended to help research laboratories consolidate their workflows while investigating panels of related targets.

Nucleic acid extraction

Our DNA and RNA extraction reagents (NVD100288-95, formulations T1 through T8) provide total nucleic acid extraction chemistry across a range of sample types, supplied at 96 reactions.

Extraction chemistry is developed alongside our assays so the two stages of the research workflow are designed to work together.

Platform Compatibility

Compatible with the instruments in your research lab.

Thermo KingFisher Flex

Our extraction reagents are compatible with the Thermo KingFisher Flex magnetic-particle processing platform.

Vision Vix-Mag

Reagents are also compatible with the Vision Vix-Mag extraction platform.

Manufactured in Illinois

Assays and reagents are developed and manufactured at our facility in Illinois, USA.

Research Workflow

A four-step path from sample to result.

Extract

Isolate total nucleic acid from your research sample using our DNA and RNA extraction reagents on a compatible platform.

Prepare

Combine the extracted nucleic acid with the multiplex assay chemistry for your chosen research panel.

Amplify

Run multiplex RT-PCR to interrogate the panel of research targets within a single reaction.

Interpret

Review results within your research workflow using the documentation supplied with each kit.
